Zipp's Service Course SL Stem is crafted from 7075 aluminum and features an optimized shape that's both strong and lightweight, resulting in a best-in-class 1.85 grams per newton meter of stiffness. That means no-flex sprints and accelerations — every watt transfers directly to the bars.

To meet every rider's fit needs, the stem is available in ±6° and ±17° angles in seven lengths from 70 to 130mm, plus 140mm and 150mm for the ±6° only. This stem is a favorite of Zipp ambassadors and professional athletes.

Installation
Apply grease to steerer tube and stem bolt threads. Torque stem clamp to manufacturer spec (typically 5-8 Nm). Face plate bolts should be tightened evenly in a crossing pattern.
Inspection
Periodically check all bolts for tightness. Inspect for any cracks, deformation, or corrosion — especially after crashes or heavy loads.
Compatibility
Use with 31.8mm clamp diameter handlebars and 1-1/8" steerer tubes. Confirm stack height and reach fit for your frame geometry.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging by the clamp area to prevent stress on the aluminum structure.
