Washing
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Wash with like colors — the Merino+TENCEL™ blend benefits from isolated washing to protect the fabric’s moisture-management properties. Cold water protects the TENCEL™ Lyocell’s fiber integrity (high heat can damage TENCEL™’s structure), the Merino fibers, and the color-fastness of the relaxed-fit jersey. Use a mild, technical wash; avoid fabric softeners (they coat the Merino fibers and reduce natural moisture management and odor resistance, and can interfere with the TENCEL™ Lyocell’s cooling performance).
Drying
Tumble dry low. The Merino+TENCEL™ jersey construction (no elastane, no recycled nylon) tolerates low-heat tumble drying without felting the Merino or degrading the TENCEL™ Lyocell’s fiber structure — the simpler jersey knit holds its shape through the dry cycle. Low heat only; high heat can shrink the Merino fibers and damage the TENCEL™ Lyocell’s cooling fiber structure. (Note: this differs from the SW003183 Women’s Active Merino Movement Tight in this family which requires dry flat — the Active Long Sleeve’s jersey knit (no Elastane, no Recycled Nylon) tolerates low-heat tumble drying in a way the 19% Elastane / 25% Recycled Nylon tight construction does not. The TENCEL™ Lyocell’s tolerance for tumble heat depends on the surrounding fiber construction.)
Bleach & Iron
Do not bleach. Cool iron as needed — do not iron decoration. Bleach breaks down Merino wool fibers and damages TENCEL™ Lyocell’s fiber structure. Iron only on low heat and only on the non-decorated fabric areas; high heat can scorch the Merino fibers and damage the TENCEL™ Lyocell’s cooling structure.
Dry Cleaning
Do not dry clean. The harsh solvents used in commercial dry cleaning strip the natural lanolin from Merino and degrade the TENCEL™ Lyocell’s fiber structure — both of which are core to the top’s moisture management, cooling performance, and odor resistance.
Storage
Store folded in a dry, breathable space. Merino’s natural odor resistance means the top stays fresh across multiple workouts between washes, which extends the fabric’s lifespan. Folded storage preserves the relaxed fit and the reflective elements’ visibility performance; hanging for long periods can stretch the jersey knit out at the shoulders and distort the relaxed cut.
